ALVIN CURRAN  PREHISTORIC CONCERT AREA ARCHEOLOGICA DOLMEN LA CHIANCA, BISCEGLIE (PUGLIA)1 NOVEMBRE 2015 -  9.00 AM --------------------- Visita installazione dal 1 novembre al 7 dicembre 2015 --------------------- Il Dolmen La Chianca, che risale all'Età del Bronzo, ospiterà /  The Chianca Dolmen, dating back to the Bronze Age, will play host to: Concerto preistorico e una installazione sonora site-specific di Alvin Curran. La costruzione megalitica consiste in una cella sepolcrale quadrangolare coperta da un lastrone di pietra e un corridoio antistante. Il concerto, con coro e percussioni, si colloca nella vasta ricerca in cui l'autore fin dagli anni Settanta, abbandonando teatri convenzionali, coinvolge ampi spazi esterni come laghi, porti, fiumi e grotte, suoi laboratori naturali. The megalithic construction  consists of a quadrangular sepulchral cell covered by a stone slab and a preceding corridor. The concert, with choir and percussion, is part of the vast research in which the author, since abandoning conventional theatres in the seventies, has involved ample outdoor spaces such as lakes, ports, rivers and grottoes, making them his natural laboratories.
